Hard like the black wall
of a bathroom stall
watch your breathing
marked -- graffiti
you'll make your mark somehow
ascend up to fat clouds
and end up in my mouth,
you're only words sometimes.
Crazed like a sound wave
she cried and screamed and raved
blitz the highway
substance, decay
she'll lose - the time slips
she breaks, she moves her hips
and she ends up on my lips,
she's only words sometimes.
Doomed like a carousel
preconduit we fell
stumble to the fun house
clowns creep out
"will we survive this sick facade?
these mirrors show us fallen gods!"
and our lives hang with our jaws,
we're only words sometimes.

Your poetry is lovely, as always
